Udinese: one home game without scoring in last 18

The Bianconeri have failed to score in just one of their last 18 home matches (Udinese 0-1 Fiorentina on 8 November 2009), netting a total of 41 goals in the other 17.

Lukovic set for Udinese milestone

By appearing against Inter, Aleksandar Lukovic will make his 100th appearance for Udinese. The Serbian defender, who made his debut for the Friuli club in their 3-2 Serie A away win over Torino on 27 January 2007, has represented Udinese 85 times in the Serie A, 7 in the Coppa Italia and 7 in the UEFA Cup.

Floro Flores set for 100th Serie A appearance

Antonio Floro Flores will complete a century of appearances in Serie A if selected to play against Inter. The Neapolitan striker, who has played Italian top-flight football for Napoli, Sampdoria and Udinese, made his Serie A debut in Napoli's 3-0 away defeat to Roma on 28 January 2001.

Most decisive striker v most decisive strike partnership

Antonio Di Natale is the most decisive player in the 2009/10 Serie championship as his goals have earned Udinese 20 points. Inter's Diego Milito and Samuel Eto'o, meanwhile, are the championship's most potent strike force. Their goals have earned Inter 28 points (14 points each).

No Udinese goal at home to Inter in 4 Serie A games

Udinese haven't scored at home to Inter in Serie A since their 1-1 draw with the Nerazzurri on 19 February 2005, Goitom the scorer in the 90th minute. The Bianconeri have since hosted Inter in the league on three occasions, losing 1-0 in 2005/06, drawing 0-0 in 2006/07 and 2007/08, and losing 1-0 in 2008/09. Considering all competitive matches between the two teams at the Stadio Friuli, Iaquinta was the last player to score for Udinese against Inter. That goal came in the 89th minute of their 2-2 Coppa Italia draw on 11 April 2006.

Inter unbeaten in 13 games against Udinese

Inter haven't lost a competitive fixture against Udinese since 15 February 2004 when they lost 2-1 in Milan, winning 7 and drawing 6 of the successive 13 games.

Materazzi set for 300th professional appearance

If he plays against Udinese, Marco Materazzi will make his 300th professional appearance in Italian football. The veteran defender, who has played for Trapani, Perugia, Carpi and Inter in Italy, has played 235 matches in Serie A, 33 in Serie B and 31 in Serie C1. He made his professional debut in Trapani's 2-2 home draw against Siracusa in Serie C1 on 11 September 1994.

Nerazzurri on 15-game unbeaten run

Inter's last defeat was a 2-1 reverse against Juventus in Turin on 5 December 2009. The Nerazzurri have since played 15 games, winning 10 and drawing 5.

No Inter goal in Serie A since Parma draw

Inter haven't scored a Serie A goal since Mario Balotelli's 59th-minute effort in the 1-1 draw away to Parma on 10 February, having drawn both of their successive games 0-0 (away to Napoli and at home to Sampdoria). The last player to score against Inter was Parma's Bojinov in the 55th minute of that draw at the Tardini.

UDINE - Inter fell behind to an early goal at the Stadio Friuli, but as has happened so often this season José Mourinho's players overwhelmed their opponents with a brilliant fightback.

Simone Pepe put the home side ahead within two minutes, Mario Balotelli equalised in the seventh, and Maicon and Diego Milito finished off well-worked moves to put the Nerazzurri in command at the break.

Antonio Di Natale fired in a penalty kick early in the second half to set up an exciting last forty minutes.

The win keeps Inter four points clear at the top of the table as second-placed AC Milan beat Atalanta 3-1 at home to remain hot on the heels of their city rivals.

Deprived of Samuel, Cordoba, Muntari and Cambiasso, José Mourinho resolved his suspension crisis by shifting Thiago Motta into a central defensive role alongside Lucio, and handing Mariga his first start for Inter alongside Stankovic in holding midfield positions with Balotelli, Sneijder and Pandev behind Milito up front.

The Italian champions barely had time to settle when Pepe latched onto Di Natale's through ball from Cuadrado's square pass and slotted past Julio Cesar for Udinese's shock opener.

Their lead lasted all of five minutes. Maicon held off three opponents before squaring to Balotelli whose 20-yard blockbuster gave Handanovic no chance.

Some brilliant approach play saw the Nerazzurri rewarded in the 21st minute when Milito crossed to Pandev and the Macedonian played first time into the path of Maicon who almost broke the net with a rocket volley that went in off the underside of the bar.

In added time at the end of the first half Sneijder picked out Balotelli in space on the left and the Italian put his inch-perfect inswinging cross onto the head of Milito who sent a glancing header beyond the reach of Handanovic to give Inter a two-goal cushion with his 18th of the season.

The Bianconeri started the second half as they had begun the first as Milito's rival for the Serie A top scorer title Di Natale saw his penalty kick go in off the post in the 51st minute after Balotelli handled his free kick in the area - Inler having his headed goal from the rebound disallowed as Bergonzi pointed directly to the spot.

Sanchez headed straight at Julio Cesar from a corner, Pepe sent his left-wing curling shot just over and Cuadrado wasted a close-range chance as the home side were left rueing missed opportunities.

Inter came closest to restoring their two goal-lead when Handanovic made a crucial one-handed save from Maicon's right-wing cross-shot with Pandev ready to poach at the far post.

Pivotal to Udinese's attacking play throughout, Pepe had another chance for a late equaliser in stoppage time but Julio Cesar got down to make the save. The ball just wouldn't go in for the Bianconeri as Inler saw his deflected shot in the dying seconds come back off the crossbar.
