ROME - Gabriel Omar Batistuta spent the day off in Rome with his family. "Apart from the affection of my wife and children, it was a calm day without any events in particular," said the Argentine.
"I also spent the day reflecting on my first week at Inter. I'm very happy and everything else is going well. Inter won and are back on top. Inter have an excellent and solid squad, they are all great players. Now we just have to think about winning every Sunday. It's easier to be in front because you don't have to make any calculations, you just have to think about yourselves. It's the others that should be worried."
Gabriel has spoken to Almeyda, who sustained a serious injury against Empoli. "He will react. He's tough and he will never give up. I think we'll be seeing him back with us soon."
