MILAN - The crisis is deepening over at Champions League Group A opponents Barcelona. After losing 4-2 against Valencia at the Nou Camp last weekend, the Catalans fell to a 2-0 defeat away to Celta Vigo this evening.
Directly after the match, an emergency meeting was held between president Gaspart, his cousin and vice president Francesc Closa, and directors Amador Bernabeu and Agustí Montoliu.
It is unclear whether Van Gaal will remain as coach of the club, though Closa did say any decision regarding the Dutchman's future will be delayed until Monday. There is talk of Barcelona B team coach Quique Costas taking over at the helm.
