APPIANO GENTILE - Hernan Crespo has begun therapy to recover from the thigh injury sustained
during the Nerazzurri's match at home Modena earlier this month. At Pinetina today, the Argentine
striker underwent a session of therapy with Inter physio Silvano Cotti.
The Inter number
nine chatted to Inter Channel and gave thanks for the many messages of support he has received.
"The people have shown an incredible, enormous amount of affection towards me. It was
unexpected because I have only been with the Nerazzurri for a few months. I heard the chants from
the 'curva' at the San Siro, I heard that the public were very close. Unfortunately, I didn't even
manage to raise my arm to thank them. I felt too bad. But I heard them, like I've heard the
encouragement of the fans I meet in the street. At Pinetina I saw a gigantic banner. When I watch
Inter Channel, I always hear the messages of the season ticket holders that support me. Now I'm
calm and tranquil and I can thank all the fans."
