MILAN - It was a busy weekend for the Elite Academy and the women’s sides in particular. After beating Roma in the semi-finals, the Women’s Under-17s finished as runners-up after Juventus won on penalties. It was also a bitter weekend for the Under-15s who beat Sampdoria in the interregional finals but lost to AC Milan and Juventus and missed out on a spot in the Final Four. For the men’s team, Andrea Zanchetta’s side drew in the first leg of their quarter-final. They will now look to replicate the results of the Primavera and U-16 teams at home and book a place in the Final Four.

Elsewhere, there have been a lot of tournaments going on. Chivu’s Under-14 side went out in the quarter-finals of the Talents Cup after beating Bayern Munich among others.
