MILAN - It was a great morning of fun at the Suning Youth Development Centre for the kids from the Centro Maria Letizia Verga, as they took part in a Mini-Olympics with Inter Campus coaches.

With around 30 children taking part, all recovering or fully healed from lymphomas or leukaemia, they all gave their all: running, jumping and enjoying themselves, fuelled by determination and energy.

Also present on the day along with the children’s families and siblings who also take part in the project was Dr Marco Spinelli, a Paediatrician in the Haematology Department of the Monza centre and he was received with great affection from all!

As activities came to a close, there was the delivery of the report cards as the coaches wanted to show what the children had learnt over the course of the year. They’ve played together and had fun alongside one another, respected the rules of the game and of the dressing room while also perfecting their individual technique.
