<p><strong>APPIANO GENTILE</strong> - U19 Coach <strong>Armando</strong> <strong>Madonna</strong> today discussed his team’s recent win over Genoa with Inter TV: “It was a difficult match, even if we missed too many chances that could’ve sealed the win earlier. We were too sluggish during the first half and we didn’t succeed in creating enough goalscoring chances. We were quicker during the second half and put ourselves in a position to secure all three points. Every match is tricky towards the end of the season, but it’s all down to us and we’ll play our matches with this attitude.”</p> <p>This latest victory also saw a third consecutive clean sheet for Inter: “It’s key because defensive organisation is fundamental, especially towards the end of the season when teams are more tired. We have plenty of quality in attack and not conceding gives us a great advantage. In any case, we can still keep improving, while also maintaining high levels of concentration.”</p> <p>As for their next opponents in the league, Madonna added: “Chievo play very good football and they’ve picked up many points of late. They have their own style and it’ll be a difficult game with lots of determination needed. It’s hugely important for us to pick up points so that we can maintain second place.”</p>
