Inter levelled in the 14th minute from a D’Adda free kick from midfield which caught Guidi out. Two minutes later, the Nerazzurre completed the comeback. Baresi played it to Rognoni who squared the ball to Marinelli who made no mistake. The visitors restored parity in the 20th minute from the spot after a foul on Pellens before Polverino converted from the spot. Inter finished the half with the lead, Locatelli played a free kick in the 32nd minute with Marinelli making it 3-2 thanks to a brilliant volley.</p> <p>In the second half, Inter extended the lead with Rognoni converting from a Marinelli assist. With time running down, Costi made it 5-2 with a magnificent shot from outside the area.
