SPALLETTI: "INTER COMES FIRST"

The Coach at his press conference today: "We must not have any regrets come the end of the season, Champions League qualification is everybody's aim"

APPIANO GENTILE - Luciano Spalletti spoke to the press on the eve of Frosinone vs. Inter, a game which is set to take place tomorrow evening at the Stadio Benito Stirpe: “Lautaro Martinez is doing fine, he’s trained well and ready to play from the start. Icardi and Lautaro are similar in that they’re both centre forwards, but some of their characteristics are different. In any case, the team haven’t needed to adapt and they haven’t needed to adapt because top players can play anywhere.

“Several players on the verge of suspension? From now until the end of the season, it’s possible that players one booking away from suspension will receive a yellow card. All our games are difficult, so it’s not worth thinking about.

“Nainggolan doesn’t owe me anything. Inter needs to be put first and this is where his focus should lie.

“We must not have any regrets come the end of the season and we need to qualify for the Champions League – this is everybody’s aim. We need to do well and make sure that we don’t overlook any details.

“From this point onwards, every game will be decisive, not just matches against direct rivals. We need to focus on ourselves and not make any calculations, while we also need to be the Inter side we’ve seen recently.”
