MILAN - There are a few joys like scoring a goal when about to become a father. Only a few days ago, Vecino did it with his first derby goal before celebrating in the typical fashion with the ball stuffed up his shirt. In Italy, 19 March is Father’s Day so let’s take a look back at other examples of the celebration from the Nerazzurri.

The most recent example before the derby came just a week earlier when Gagliardini found the net against Spal at the Meazza. He celebrated by displaying a shirt with 'già ti amo’ (I already love you) in honour of his first-born child.

In November, Antonio Candreva became a father for the second time and in September he celebrated with young Raul on the way after scoring to make it 0-2 against Bologna.

Icardi welcomed Francesca into the world with his goal against Sampdoria when Inter made it to the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia in the 2014/15 season.

Pazzini and Cambiasso enjoyed perfect timing. For ‘Cuchu’. the goal to make it 0-6 against Sassuolo came just two days before the birth of Dante while Pazzini celebrated scoring against Lecce by rocking his arms just ahead of the birth of Tommaso.

Antonio Cassano’s goal against Chievo in the 2012/13 season was celebrated by embracing Milito and with a thumb in the mouth.

Moving away from the usual celebrations, we have Guarin and Materazzi. For the Colombian, he dedicated two goals to his children with one of his greatest Inter displays against Atalanta. Materazzi scored in the derby before dedicating it to his son Davide.

On the subject of important goals, you can’t forget that by Javier Zanetti on 27 February 2008 against Roma after Totti opened the scoring. It was a critical goal that season as Inter won the Scudetto with the captain celebrating with the stomach gesture and kisses blown to the stands for Ignacio.
