APPIANO GENTILE – Luciano Spalletti’s side started preparing for their first-leg Europa League match against Eintracht Frankfurt in five days’ time. Those involved in yesterday’s game against Cagliari completed a light workout as they did work in the gym and a bit of running out on the training pitch.
Training for the rest of the group took place exclusively on the pitch: fitness work was followed by theme-based practice matches.
