UDINE - Armando Madonna’s Inter side secured their fifth consecutive league win in Primavera 1 TIM on Saturday, beating Udinese 2-0 thanks to goals from Maj Roric and Sebastiano Esposito. This latest victory now moves Inter’s U19 side up to 36 points in the league standings as they prepare for their crucial Supercoppa clash against Torino.

The game’s first real chance fell to the Nerazzurri, with Adorante just missing the target after a superb cross from Corrado. Mulattieri then also threatened with a header just minutes later following a corner from Pompetti. Udinese responded in the 22nd minute, although Dekic was easily able to save Lirussi’s effort.

Mulattieri was involved once again in the 25th minute, as he forced a superb double save from Gasparini. As Nerazzurri pressure continued to mount, they finally broke the deadlock in the 34th minute. Schirò first fed through Persyn who subsequently slid in Roric to score past Gasparini. Five minutes later, Madonna’s side missed a great chance to double their lead, as the first half finished 1-0.

Following the interval, the game maintained the same rhythm, with Inter dominating possession and Udinese looking to threaten on the counter-attack whenever possible. Some of the biggest chances of the second half all fell to Adorante, who first forced a close-range save from Gasparini in the 75th minute before then missing a penalty four minutes later.

All three points were sealed thanks to a strike from substitute Sebastiano Esposito in the 90th minute, who fired home a rebound after Burgio struck the post. After four minutes of injury time, the Nerazzurri held on their 2-0 victory, who’ll now turn their attention to their Supercoppa encounter against Torino on 20th February.

UDINESE 0-2 INTER
Goalscorers: Roric 34', 90' Esposito

UDINESE: 1 Gasparini,; 2 Ballarini, 3 Filipiak (56' Renzi 15), 4 Battistella, 5 Parpinel, 6 Vasko, 7 Gkertsos (82' Katuma 21), 8 Ndreu (64' Compagnon 20), 9 Bocic, 10 Lirussi, 11 Kubala
Substitutes: 12 Crespi, 13 Mazzolo, 14 Ermacora, 16 Zanolla, 17 Beak, 18 Comisso, 19 Donadello, 23 Oviszach, 24 Ilic
Coach: Stefano Daniel

INTER: 1 Dekic; 2 Zappa, 4 Van den Eynden, 6 Ntube, 3 Corrado; 8 Roric, 5 Pompetti, 10 Schirò (70' Burgio 16); 7 Persyn (70' Grassini 13), 9 Adorante (87' Esposito 18), 11 Mulattieri (58' <a href="http://w0pp.inter.it/en/squadra/G1018/eddie-salcedo" title="Eddie Salcedo, Attaccante: His career, technical characteristics, statistics and number of appearances.
