MILAN – "When the call from Inter arrived, I was on my day off and in London. My agent got in touch with me and told me that there was the possibility I could come here. I was very happy, everything happened quickly." This is what Cedric Soares had to say as he spoke to DAZN about how his move to Inter came about.
The Portuguese defender spoke about how he already had positive feelings for the Nerazzurri: "I’ve always liked watching football and Inter have always been a great team. Many of my friends spoke to me about Milan. I’ve settled in quickly, but it’s not difficult for someone who is Portuguese to adapt to this city (he said, smiling)."
As regards his inclusion in the team: "Spalletti has helped me a lot in terms of where to move and immediately put me at ease. The Coach has asked me to defend well and also provide support when we attack. I’ll try to give my best out on the pitch. Training is important to me: if you train well every week you keep on improving. You have to be gifted naturally, but you also need to be able to cultivate your skills. This is exactly what I’ve done in my career."
