TREZZO SULL'ADDA (MI) - A special and highly-significant visit took place today, Wednesday 6 February, at the headquarters of Gruppo Beretta. Both AC Milan President Paolo Scaroni and CEO Corporate of FC Internazionale Milano Alessandro Antonello were present, as they celebrated the new partnership between the two clubs and the historic company that was founded in 1812. To welcome them was the Beretta family, led by Vittore Beretta. He is now the President of a company that spans eight generations, one that continues to provide quality cuts of traditional Italian meats all around the world. Not only was this a chance to learn more about a company that boasts over 200 years of history, and whose quality products have contributed to the ‘Made in Italy’ brand, but also to confirm our partnership for the next three years. Fratelli Beretta has now been named AC Milan’s ‘Official Partner’ and FC Internazionale Milano’s ‘Official Supplier’, joining both the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri families.

During the meeting itself, there were also strategic thoughts shared on how to make Gruppo Beretta an even more involved and active player at the Stadio San Siro. Beretta products are already on offer in the hospitality areas and in the San Siro bars, during which you can choose from Carpegna DOP Prosciutto and PURO Beratta – the new range of meats launched just a few months ago without antibiotics.

President of the Gruppo Fratelli Beretta SpA Vittore Beretta had this to say: “We are proud to join up with Milan and Inter, two clubs who’ve long been the flagships of Milanese and international football. We share different values with them, which for us are our lifeblood: team spirit, passion, sacrifice, tradition and innovation. The connection between our organisations goes beyond shared values, with all three of us boasting long histories. Milan and Inter were founded in 1899 and 1908 respectively, while Fratelli Beretta was launched in 1812 – making it one of Italy’s oldest companies. We’ve now started this new journey together, inspired as always by passion, a sense of belonging and constant commitment. It’s also exciting to see San Siro, the Scala of Football, kitted out in our colours.”

“This is a prestigious partnership,” said Inter’s CEO Corporate Alessandro Antonello. “One that unites the two solid and historic entities of this city. We are proud to start this journey with Beretta, to whom we thank for today’s special visit. Milanese territory offers excellence and we are certain that by working together, we can achieve very important results. Beretta’s hospitality does not go unnoticed, nor does their ability to work as a team, something that we know very well. I am certain this new partnership will be a winning one.”

“Gruppo Beretta boast over two centuries of passion, excellence, tradition and innovation,” said AC Milan President Paolo Scaroni. “They are values that our club and fans fully identify with. I am pleased Gruppo Beretta can be at our side for the next three years. It’s a sporting association that embodies our DNA and one that unites us in transferring the values of Milan and Italy to the entire world.”
