MILAN - Following Inter vs. Bologna, Andrea Ranocchia had this to say to Inter TV: “The situation is similar to what happened last year. However, this season, we must not wait until the last game to resolve it. As of now, we’re in a better league position, we are in good hands and we have good feet. We must work on the psychological aspect of our game. I think that’s the main point to focus on today.

“It’s not about numbers, but rather a mental issue. We have strong players that know how to play football and technically we’re strong. The psychological aspect is the thing that we need to change as soon as possible. The result didn’t go in our favour, all of the rest is superfluous.

“We must be more solid at certain points during a match, whether that be when we’re losing or when we take the lead. We must work on thinking that we can no longer afford these mishaps. I was holding my breath for almost the entire game. Today, we should’ve secured all three points because it would’ve been important for our league position. When the Coach plays me then I always try to give my all and the fans can probably see that.”
