MILAN – Inter have chosen Moovit to help their fans reach games at San Siro and away from home, whether in Italy or in the rest of Europe. Starting from 3 February, the day when Inter play Bologna at the Meazza, Nerazzurri supporters will be able to receive detailed information regarding getting to the stadium, specific entrances and areas dedicated to them using public transport.

Whatever the competition, Inter fans will be able to reach the stadium comfortably and easily without needing to use a car: Moovit, the app that has revolutionised public transport worldwide, will follow the team wherever they are playing by offering a precise and detailed service that is perfectly suited to answer all questions regarding mobility.

Finding out about estimated times of arrival and possible diversions or changes to the transport system will be really simple: it’ll be enough to just download the free app Moovit, available on Android and iOS devices, or visit www.moovit.com to see when you’re likely to arrive or receive notifications regarding changes to your journey.

As reflected in FC Internazionale Milano’s name, this is really an international partnership. This agreement with Moovit will make it easier for the growing number of tourists coming to Milan to reach the stadium, with the capital of Lombardy having been voted as the second-best European destination in the last ‘European Best Destination’ poll. As a result of the app being available in 44 different languages, it will help fans of visiting sides to get to Inter’s home and take a look around the city.

"This agreement with Moovit, the world's number one public transport app, will help our fans get around cities and allow them to arrive at all the stadiums Inter are playing at, whether in Italy or Europe," said Alessandro Antonello, the Nerazzurri’s CEO Corporate. "Users will then be able to identify the best route to get to the Meazza, the Inter Store and all the stadiums hosting the Nerazzurri in a quick and sustainable way, with public transport and sharing available to them. This is an innovative agreement for the Club and something which will allow us to further improve the experience of our fans on matchdays, both when travelling to watch games and then returning home."

"Inter were the team with the highest average attendance in Italy in the first half of the league season and the only Italian club to be in the top ten in Europe when it comes to attendance figures during the period from August to December 2018. Furthermore, the Nerazzurri are the first Milanese club to have chosen Moovit as exclusive partner for global mobility," said Samuel Sed Piazza, Moovit’s Director of Partnership. "This agreement represents an ironclad commitment by Inter in support of sustainable mobility and, for us, represents an important recognition of the work that we are doing around the world to facilitate and promote the use of alternative means of transport.”

Moovit has over 330 million users, making it the most-used app when it comes to public transport, while more than 200 cities in Italy and over 2700 cities globally are mapped on it. It is the app that has revolutionised public transport and is the largest information archive for urban mobility. From the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016 to the 2018 Euroleague Finals, it has always had a role at major sporting events, providing its users with detailed and up-to-date information on urban mobility.
