MADONNA: "OUR ATTITUDE IN GAMES HAS NOTICEABLY IMPROVED"

The U-19 Coach to Inter TV: "We're making fewer mistakes and we're able to bring home positive results"

APPIANO GENTILE - With two days to go before Inter vs. Sampdoria, the 17th match of the Primavera 1 TIM season, Under-19 Coach Armando Madonna spoke to Inter TV about his team’s good recent form with seven wins from the last nine. "Our attitude in games has noticeably improved, we’re making fewer mistakes and we’re able to bring home positive results. On Friday, we’ll face Sampdoria who have picked up excellent results of late. It will be a tough game and one that we need to approach with determination and the will to win."

He also looked back to match last weekend at the Sardegna Arena. "In the first half, we struggled a bit as Canzi’s side played really well and we must compliment them for that. In the second, they dropped off while we improved. We pressed well, created different goalscoring chances and did what was needed to get the three points."

"Like in any league, we’ll look at the maths at the end of the season and now isn’t the right time to look at the table. The main aim is to keep developing, improve our attitude and get more consistent results," said the Coach to finish.
