<p><strong>MILAN – </strong>Following Inter’s <a href="https://www.inter.it/en/news/65821">comfortable 6-2 win against Benevento</a> in the Coppa Italia, <a href="https://www.inter.it/en/allenatore/70">Luciano Spalletti</a>’s men are set to return to Serie A TIM action as the second half of the season begins. On Saturday 19 January at 20:30 CET, the Nerazzurri will face Sassuolo at San Siro on matchday 20.</p> <p>The last meeting between the sides in Milan saw the Neroverdi come out on top, <a href="https://www.inter.it/en/news/62779">recording a 2-1 win</a> after goals from Matteo Politano – then a Sassuolo player – and Domenico Berardi. <a href="https://www.inter.it/en/archivio_giocatore/G1004">Rafinha</a>’s strike turned out to be a consolation for the Nerazzurri. The team from Emilia-Romagna also triumphed on matchday one this season after Berardi’s penalty secured a <a href="https://www.inter.it/en/news/63733">1-0</a> win at the Mapei Stadium. Sassuolo, who are coached by Roberto De Zerbi, come into the game on the back of a 6-2 defeat at home to Atalanta and are currently eleventh in the <a href="https://www.inter.it/en/classifica">league </a>with 25 points to their name.
