MILAN – Armando Madonna’s Under-19 side have been back for a few days now since the winter break, with the team having returned to training early and having beaten Brescia 5-3 in a friendly last weekend. Positive signs are there, but there is also the belief that the team have to continue to work hard in order to improve every aspect of their game. Captain Ryan Nolan spoke about just this upon speaking to Inter TV:

"We had a few days off before returning to training to prepare the best we possibly can for our next match against Atalanta. We know that they are a very strong side, but we always manage to find something extra in big matches. We know it’ll be a difficult game, but we’ll be ready."

Nolan then had this to say about the team’s aims for the year: "We hope to win trophies and improve our position in the league table. The Viareggio Cup and Coppa Italia are two competitions we want to do well in."
