MILAN – The UYL game against PSV is just around the corner and Inter’s preparations for it continue to be intense. In order to progress from their group, Armando Madonna’s team must beat the Dutch side and hope that Tottenham fail to win away to Barcelona. Armando Madonna, Nicholas Rizzo and Maj Roric all spoke to Inter TV ahead of the UYL clash:

Armando Madonna: "We’ve played well in the Youth League, apart from perhaps the first half against Barcelona. We’ve been able to compete with all the teams we’ve come up against. Given our performances, we perhaps have deserved to pick up a couple more points, but it’s great to still be in contention to qualify from a group with such strong teams in it. Our concentration levels need to be high against PSV, they are good on the counter and we need to limit the space. We have to be patient and not rush things in an attempt to score immediately."

Maj Roric: "Such games are the best ones to play in, we train every day to play in matches like this. It’ll be a great game in which we will have to give everything. I’m in optimum physical condition, and it gives me great satisfaction when I can support my teammates on the pitch."

Nicholas Rizzo: "We’re constantly working to improve. The match against PSV will determine whether we stay in the UYL, we’ll give it our all and try to concentrate from the first until the last minute. Matches like this can help you grow a lot, including from a mental point of view."
