Useful information and advice for fans travelling to London to watch the Nerazzurri against Tottenham on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League

<p><strong>MILAN</strong> - The matchday five UEFA Champions League fixture between Tottenham Hotspur and Inter will take place at Wembley on Wednesday 28 November, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 CET. Here&rsquo;s all our useful information for the away journey.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Fan assistance</strong><br /> As with every away game, club representatives will be present at the Wembley entrance, however, fans are reminded that they will not be able to help you enter the stadium should you not have the necessary documents with you (proof of identity and ticket).</p> <p>In case of emergency, you can call the Consulate General: 0044 (0) 7850 752 895 (available from Monday to Friday &ndash; 18:00 CET to 22:00: during public holidays from 09:00 to 22:00).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Useful information on getting to London:</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.heathrow.com/" target="_blank">Heathrow</a> is the city&rsquo;s main airport, located around 30km to the west of the city. The quickest way to reach the city is via the <a href="https://www.heathrowexpress.com/" target="_blank">Heathrow Express</a> (travel time 15 minutes from Paddington). Otherwise, you can take the Piccadilly line towards the city centre which takes around an hour. There are also bus transfers and taxis available at the airport.</p> <p>From Gatwick airport, the quickest way to reach the city is via the <a href="https://www.gatwickexpress.com/" target="_blank">Gatwick Express</a>. This departs every 15 minutes with a journey time of around 35 minutes. There are also bus transfers available.</p> <p>From Stansted, you can take the <a href="https://www.stanstedexpress.com/" target="_blank">Stansted Express</a>, which takes around 45 minutes to get to Liverpool Street.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Passports, visas and health insurance</strong></p> <p>Passports/Identity cards are required for entry into the United Kingdom. Documents must still be valid. The country is in the EU.</p> <p>Italian-style paper ID cards with the stamps from the local council often cause delays and can be rejected at the border. It is recommended that documents are checked to ensure they&rsquo;re not damaged before travel.</p> <ul> <li>It&rsquo;s necessary to have all the required documentation for travel and access to Wembley.</li> <li>Bring a EHIC card or take out insurance in the case that you may require medical assistance.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Currency</strong></p> <p>Pound Sterling is the currency with 100 pence adding up to a pound. Notes come in denominations of &pound;5, &pound;10, &pound;20 and &pound;50. Coins are 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p and 50p and then &pound;1 or &pound;2.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Personal Security</strong></p> <p>As in all large cities, <a href="http://www.btp.police.uk/pickpockets/" target="_blank">caution is advised to avoid pickpockets</a>, especially around airports, stations, public transport and in the centre.</p> <p>It is recommended that you make a copy of your ID and leave it in a secure place should you lose your documents.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Useful Phone Numbers:</strong></p> <p>The emergency services can be reached on 999. Should you not speak English well, you can request to speak in different languages on the European number 112.</p> <p>The Metropolitan Police can be contacted for non-emergency issues on 101. Fans in home sections will be denied access and unable to go into the away end.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Entry:</strong></p> <p>We advise you to arrive in good time in order to have sufficient time to pass through security checks.</p> <p><strong>A new security policy is now in force regarding bags.</strong></p> <p>No-bag policy</p> <p>All bags larger than a sheet of A4 piece of paper cannot be taken into the stadium.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Ticket collection</strong></p> <p>All the fans who have bought away tickets from <a href="http://inter.it/trasferte">inter.it/trasferte</a> who haven&rsquo;t picked them up from San Siro can collect them from the East Ticket Office on the day of the match where there will be a specific</p> <p>Warning: No tickets are still on sale, this procedure is for those who need to collect tickets that they have already bought.</p> <p>An identity document and the confirmation purchase mail will be required to collect the ticket.</p> <p>The East Ticket Office at Wembley is by the main entrance&nbsp;on Level B1 and can&nbsp;be reached from Olympic Way (Wembley Way).</p> <p>Once you have reached the stadium walking done Olympic Way, go left and follow signs for the East Ticket Office.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Security Checks</strong></p> <p><strong>The following items/behaviour is banned</strong></p> <p>- Weapon possession</p> <p>- The wearing or possession of masks/balaclavas</p> <ul> <li>The display of flags/banners with logos linked to associations that promote discrimination of any kind (racial, religious, sexual, etc) or that promote violence.</li> <li>The promotion of violence of any kind</li> </ul> <p>- The possession or use of any explosive or pyrotechnic material.</p> <p>- Climbing fences and entering the pitch or any other prohibited areas.</p> <p>A video-surveillance system is in action both inside and outside the stadium.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The following items are prohibited:</strong></p> <p>- Weapons</p> <p>- Pyrotechnics</p> <p>- Professional cameras or video equipment</p> <p>- Glasses, glass bottles or cans</p> <p>- Laser pointers</p> <p>- Spray cans</p> <p>- Megaphones</p> <p>- Balaclavas</p> <p>- Animals</p> <p>- Large banners or flags (over 2mt.)</p> <p>- Symbols connected to racism and discrimination</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Bag Storage</strong></p> <p>A bag-drop is available by the Yellow Parking area (see the map above)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Leaving the stadium</strong></p> <p>After the match, supporters can leave from Gate C with no delays.</p> <p>The Police reserve the right to delay the away fans to ensure the safety of all fans should it be required.</p> <p>Please follow the instructions of security personnel to make the process easier.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
