MILAN – Armando Madonna’s Under-19 team continue to work hard ahead of their upcoming games. Flor Van Den Eynden spoke about this and touched upon other topics when speaking to Inter TV: "Our next game against Fiorentina will be very difficult. The Viola are always a hard team to face. But we are also a strong team and if we approach games with the right attitude we’ve always got a chance of winning."

The 18-year-old then commented on the team’s last match against Udinese: "We managed to get three very important points after a difficult period where we missed out on a few wins. But we can’t rest on our laurels and always need to think about improving and learning from our mistakes. We’ve taken advantage of the break by working a lot, especially in terms of looking at things as a group. We have enough quality in our ranks to achieve great things," continued Van den Eynden.

He then spoke about teammate and captain Ryan Nolan: "I get on really well with him. Ryan talks a lot on the pitch and he has helped me a lot in what is my first year with the Primavera. We have to try and win against Barcelona after only picking up one point from our games against Tottenham and PSV."

Van den Eynden finished by talking about coach Armando Madonna: "As a coach, I like him a a lot: he does show his combative nature on the training pitch but he’s also willing to talk to each player to help us improve."
