PRIMAVERA, CREMONESE 0-2 INTER

Armando Madonna's Under-19s beat Cremonese in a friendly with goals from D'Amico and Salcedo

CREMONA - The friendly between Inter and Cremonese saw the Nerazzurri’s Under-19s win 2-0. Felice D’Amico opened the scoring after 14 minutes before Salcedo doubled the lead in the 25th minute. Armando Madonna’s side controlled the match in the second half, also hitting the post on the way to victory.

It was a positive result ahead of the imminent start of the league season. On Friday 14th September, the campaign will kick off at home against Cagliari at 15:00 CEST. The week after, the Youth League will start at the Stadio Breda in Sesto San Giovanni with the visit of English side Tottenham Hotspur.

On Tuesday 11th September, a mixture of players from the Primavera and Berretti sides will be in action at the Arena Civica for a friendly against Milano City. The decision to form a single group from the two teams stemmed from the season starting only three days later and the large number of players who have been called up for international duty.
