A 'CAMP' TO START AGAIN: INTER, SUNING AND CSI COME TOGETHER IN MARCHE

'Un camp per ripartire' will be back between 23 July and 3 August with ten days of training across Marche to give youngsters the chance to play

CASTELRAIMONDO - Following the success of last year’s edition, Inter Camp will again go on tour of the areas affected by the earthquake in 2016. It will allow lots of children and young people aged between 6 and 14 to keep smiling through play and sport as they get a chance to enjoy spending time together. It’s therefore another ‘Gol per Ripartire’ following the #UnGolperRipartire campaign previously held by Inter and Centro Sportivo Italiano to support the people affected by the earthquake and terrible aftershocks that struck central Italy two years ago.

Training is beginning today in Castelraimondo at the Stadio Comunale where coaches from the FC Internazionale’s Elite Academy and Inter Campus will be present at the pitch. In the morning, it will be the turn of those aged between 6 and 10 before the more experienced Under-14s have their turn in the afternoon. They’re expected to come in great numbers from all over, from church schools, sports clubs and from neighbouring areas to play football for free with the help of the expert coaches from Appiano Gentile. Balls and cones interrupt the daily monotony and distract from memories of the earthquake with many local sports facilities still out of action but the Inter colours are still able to bring some energy and enthusiasm back for many young people.

Inter Camp’s events will have the same format. The Nerazzurri coaches will lead the Under-10s between 09:30 CEST and 12:00 before those aged between 10 and 14 play between 15:30 and 18:00. All are invited to the Stadio Comunale in Castelraimondo before on 25th and 26th July, all will take to the pitch at the Stadio Polisportivo in Civitanova Marche. On 27th July, the Campo Sportivo della Vittoria in Sarnano will be venue. There will be days off on Saturday and Sunday before action restarts on 30th July in Sarnano. On 31st July and 1st August, the Stadio della Vittoria in Tolentino in the heart of Macerata will be the destination where a multi-sport facility has been built thanks to collaboration between FC Internazionale Milano, Csi and Suning. The facility that can host both recreational and competitive activity was opened on 21 April 2018. Inter Camp’s activities for young people will continue with the ludobus set to visit every location in the Macerata area daily before its final trips to the Stadio Soverchia in San Severino Marche on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd August.
