WINNING START FOR PERISIC AND BROZOVIC WITH CROATIA

The Balkan side kicked off in Group D with a 2-0 win over Nigeria in Kaliningrad with two Nerazzurri players featuring

KALININGRAD - Croatia got off to a positive start at the 2018 World Cup with a 2-0 win over Nigeria in their Group D fixture thanks to an Etebo own goal in the 32nd minute and Luka Modric’s penalty in the 71st minute to wrap things up. 

Ivan Perisic played from the start for his country while Marcelo Brozovic replaced Kramaric on the hour before picking up a booking in the 89th minute.
