FORLÌ - There was great drama at the Stadio Tullo Morgagni in Forlì for the Under-15 semi-final between Inter and Atalanta. Paolo Annoni’s side went down early with Ceresoli opening the scoring in the sixth minute before Oliveri added a second two minutes later after some sloppiness at the back.
In the 25th minute, the Inter Coach ran to make repairs with two changes. Inter almost reduced the arrears at the end of the first half but the goals came at the start of the second half. First, Benedetti found the net with a header from a corner before Magazzù made it 2-2 with a great shot from outside the area.
The match burst into life with both sides in search of the goal that would send them to the final but extra time failed to provide a winner so it went to penalties. The Nerazzurri were perfect from the spot, making no mistakes from nine before they could celebrate reaching the final.
At 20:30 CEST on Thursday 14th June, the Stadio Benelli in Ravenna will be the setting for the Scudetto showdown between Inter and a Juventus side that beat Napoli in the other semi-final.
