ROAD TO RUSSIA 2018: POSITIVE TESTS FOR PERISIC, BROZOVIC AND VECINO

Perisic scored and Brozovic featured in Croatia's win against Senegal. Vecino's Uruguay comfortably beat Uzbekistan 3-0, Miranda in action tomorrow

MILAN - The Nerazzurri players who will travel to Russia had their final warm-up matches before the 2018 World Cup.

With a goal from a free kick, Ivan Perisic sparked off Croatia’s comeback win against Senegal. Marcelo Brozovic also played an important role in the 2-1 win after he came on for Rebic after an hour when the African side were still 1-0 up. 

Matias Vecino also enjoyed a positive performance. He was named as a started by Oscar Tabarez. He featured for an hour in Uruguay’s 3-0 win over Uzbekistan where De Arrascaeta, Suarez and Gimenez were on the scoresheet.

Tomorrow, Joao Miranda’s Brazil will face Austria as they prepare for their World Cup opener on Sunday 17th June against Switzerland.
