SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - The Nerazzurri U19s have now mathematically qualified for the Final Four with a game to spare thanks to a win at home to Sassuolo. Stefano Vecchi made the following comments following the comprehensive victory at the Stadio Breda: "Today we have achieved our objective from the start of the season, that is finishing in the top two in the league in order to qualify directly for the semi-finals. This match was practically a final for us and we approached it in the right way. Now there are different challenges, the finals are always unpredictable."
The Nerazzurri coach was satisfied with the season just gone: "Atalanta are still the team to beat thanks to what they've shown up until now. For us, it was a long season. We played around fifty matches at a high level, making a mark in all competitions. We certainly deserve our place in the semifinals."
Finally, there was an evaluation of the condition of the squad: "Emmers' and Odgaard's injuries? I believe they will be back in time for the Final Four. We have just got back Lombardoni and Zaniolo, then we have Belkheir and and Rada who are still out. In any case, we are confident because whoever plays always responds well."
