VIAREGGIO CUP, VECCHI: "WE'LL SHOW WHAT WE CAN DO DESPITE THE ABSENCES"

The Primavera Coach after the 1-0 win against Parma: "It was a good match, the guys are doing well"

VIAREGGIO - The Under-19s won their second match at the Viareggio Cup 1-0 thanks to a goal from Facundo Colidio. The Nerazzurri move up to six points and confirm their place at the top of the group.

Here are the post-match comments from Stefano Vecchi to Rai Sport. "It was good like that, we didn’t take many risks and played a good game. We’re giving playing time to almost all of the guys and they’re all doing well."

The Coach also discussed the players that he is having to do without. "We have a lot of players missing for international duty but we’re convinced that we have a strong squad that will know how to show what it can do. There are other teams with full squads or they have fewer absences, but if we play like we’ve done so far then we can have our say."

The final comment was on the goalscorer Facundo Colidio. "He’s a very interesting prospect, there are high expectations for him. We have a lot of faith in him, he has great room for improvement and we’re convinced that he can become an important player for Inter."
