VERONA - Stefano Vecchi’s team returned to winning ways after the 3-3 draw with Fiorentina and postponed match against Genoa with three hugely important points away at Verona to stay top of Primavera 1 TIM.
"We played an average game without hitting great levels in our play. We were able to stay compact and bring home the three important points. If we want to obtain significant results however we will need to learn to do better."
The Inter Coach spoke further about the physical condition of the team. "We weren’t in top condition today but there are mitigating circumstances because our workload increased after Manchester."
The final comment was on Jens Odgaard who scored the opener. "Jens has signifcant quality, technical quality but that’s not all. He must improve and he’s working hard to do so."
After the win at Verona, Vecchi’s Under-19s will be in the 70th Viareggio Cup, kicking off on Monday 12th March against Australian side A.P.I.A Leichhardt.
