MILAN - Born in 1931 and still a member of the Castelfidardo Inter Club, March 9th will be an incredibly special day for Michele Bontempi. By turning 87 this year, Michele will once again celebrate his birthday on the same day that his beloved Inter was founded.
“I saw Inter live for the first time during the 1950’s, initially here in Castelfidardo, before then at San Siro in 1959 after I’d married and moved to Milan. Among the many emotions, the most special is, without doubt, the 1963 European Cup victory. However, I also clearly remember the performances of my favourite players: Benito Lorenzi and Amedeo Amadei.”
