CASELLE DI SOMMACAMPAGNA - A goal from Adorante was not enough for the Nerazzurri’s Primavera side on Friday, as they lost out 2-1 to Chievo at the Stadio Comunale in Caselle di Sommacampagna.
Stefano Vecchi’s side largely dominated proceedings during the first half, deservedly taking the lead through Adorante in the 25th minute. Having been played in by Emmers, the 17-year-old’s right-footed effort successfully found the back of the net, as he bagged his first goal for the Nerazzurri Primavera outfit.
Immediately after the interval, the home side were awarded a penalty and Danieli duly dispatched the spot kick. Inter soon responded, with Emmers and Rover both having chances, however, the Gialloblu eventually got the winning goal. With Dekic initially keeping out Vignato, Iusfaj was then there to follow up the rebound.
Inter will now look to redeem themselves when they take on Spartak Moscow in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday.
