MILAN – Brazilian full-back Henrique Dalbert spoke about how things are going for him and the team to Premium Sport. “Everything’s going well, the start has been a bit difficult but now everything is going for the best. It’s not easy to understand Italian football, it’s very different to the leagues that I’ve played in before. The first matches are never easy with a new team, new teammates and a new environment. I was very careful to listen to the Coach’s instructions. Now I realise that I’ve changed a lot compared to the start of the season. I’ve learnt a lot defensively, I’m working hard and I’ve improved my style of defending. Spalletti has helped me a lot, he’s giving me a hand to grow a bit each time.”
Inter have so far been picking up positive results. “We have a quality team,” Dalbert added. “We don’t want to settle. We’re working well, we need to improve to reach our objective which is to bring Inter back into the Champions League. We’re thinking about each game as it comes, this is always the important thing. Game by game we need to get points, starting from Saturday.” Hopes for the new year? “I hope to adapt ever better, to earn more faith in me and to always think positively, doing well with what the Coach asks from me to help the team.”
