PARIS - "I started supporting Inter in 1995. I was sitting on the sofa in front of the TV and I saw a team wearing my favourite colours, black and blue. I was surprised that all the team’s players came from different countries. I was born in Paris, but my family’s roots are in China, Thailand and Cambodia. Somehow FC Internazionale Milano also represent my personal history."
This is how Eric Hour, vice-president of the Inter fan club in Paris, started to love the Nerazzurri. It was a passion he wanted to develop at home in Paris: "I was looking for an Inter fan club in 2004, a place I could share my passion with other Inter fans in Paris. That’s how I came to found the club I am now vice-president of. Later, when I started working, I bought an Inter season ticket with my first wage so I could support the team at the San Siro. It was Jose Mourinho’s first year as a manager. Now Eric is celebrating his first decade as a season ticket holder!"
Being at the San Siro is always an unforgettable experience: "One of the most emotional moments at the stadium was back in 2015. After the terrorist attacks at the Bataclan club in Paris, we walked onto the pitch to honour the victims. It was a very sad moment for all of us French citizens and then, I felt all Inter’s fans close to us. I felt part of Inter.“
Eric is a true Inter fan: "Having Nerazzurri DNA means sharing the values and traditions that make this club unique. My favourite player has always been Javier Zanetti, now the club’s vice-president; He is a true role model on and off the pitch."
