SPALLETTI: "THE PORDENONE GAME WILL BE A REAL TEST"

The Nerazzurri coach has spoken ahead of the TIM Cup match at the San Siro: "My players always behave as professionals. They care about these colours"

APPIANO GENTILE – Luciano Spalletti spoke to the media at the Suning Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti. The head coach gave his thoughts on the squad and on what to expect ahead of tomorrow’s TIM Cup match against Pordenone.

"Pordenone represent a real danger. They are a solid club and their coach Colucci has worked as assistant manager for Giampaolo. His side played entertaining football – we saw it in their game against Cagliari and we all know how good a side Cagliari are, how difficult it was for us against them.”

“Karamoh has extraordinary technical skills, he dribbles well in tough situations and has the ability to give the team the upper hand. I hope my players will justify the trust I have put in them.”

“The players deserve a lot of credit. They show great respect and professionalism towards our club and the team colours. We still have work to do to improve some aspects of our game because we haven’t reached our full potential yet. We should be motivated by that because we know we can get better!”

“We will take the TIM Cup game by game, regardless of what the next match is. I hope there will be more high-quality Milan derbies in the future because the city and the fans of both clubs deserve it.”
