SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - The eleventh match of the Primavera 1 TIM season between Inter and Juventus ended in a draw. The action came in the second half at the Stadio Breda as Zaniolo equalised after Olivieri’s opener to send Inter’s Under-19s up to 23 points, one behind Atalanta who won against Udinese.
The first half was balanced with Inter doing well to keep the Bianconeri’s attack of Pjaca and Olivieri quiet while also creating three good chances. The best came in the 26th minute as the captain Lombardoni jumped highest to head Schirò’s free kick but the ball went just wide of Loria’s right post.
In the second half, the match became livelier as the teams attacked and counterattacked. In the 54th minute, Colidio did very well to get the ball at the edge of the area and set up Odgaard whose shot just missed the target as it seemed bound for the net. Vecchi responded by bringing Belkheir on for Danso and the pressure bore fruit. Six minutes from the end, Zaniolo chested down a cross from Valietti before applying the finish. Both sides looked for a winner in the final minutes but it didn’t come and the points were shared at the final whistle.
