VERONA - Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio had this to say to Mediaset Premium prior to Verona vs. Inter on Monday: “It seems only fair to me. If a squad is putting in the work then it is only right to pick up results. These arrive thanks to a strong squad, which is made up not only of those who start, but also those who come off the bench. They help members of the first team to improve."
“As for our transfer market plans, it is only fair to recognise the work put in by these lads and the results that they have achieved. Our success is still incomplete but it is the product of the team and backroom staff working well together every day. We will not be selling anyone."
“The owners have two clubs, but we’re really close to our players. Any evaluations will be postponed for at least a month and then we will make any necessary assessments, even perhaps looking at more players."
