APPIANO GENTILE - Ahead of Saturday’s clash with Napoli, Davide Santon held a short interview with Inter Tv. “The derby? For me it was really nice and important after all these months when I’ve been out to be back, even if it was just for a minute in such an important game. Napoli are a really great team, they’ve been playing via memory for years with a really good coach. We have to go there and play our game and play to win, you can never play for a draw. There will certainly be a wonderful atmosphere. The crowd at Napoli is always crazy but we’re going there to win because we know that we need to play for it. We have to be focused and forget the derby which is behind us.”
Davide also discussed his relationship with Spalletti. “He’s a very good coach, he helped me from the first day, there’s a great feeling between us and we speak a lot. I’m available to the team in any role the coach sees fit. I’ve been at Inter for time and to see the team winning makes me happy, but we must know that we’re in a team that can’t settle but one that must always win, we have to go out onto the pitch with the right ruthlessness.”
