KIEV - Stefano Vecchi’s Primavera side secured an impressive 3-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday at the Lobanovskyi Stadium, subsequently progressing to the second round of the UEFA Youth League - Domestic Champions Path. The Nerazzurri triumphed thanks to a first-half brace from Andrea Pinamonti and a final goal from Odgaard after the interval.
Pinamonti initially opened the scoring in the 10th minute, with a fine finish being created by an accurate assist from Rada. Despite their lead, the Under-19 Inter starlets continued pushing forwards, with the second soon arriving in the 30th minute. Almost in identical fashion to the first, Pinamonti grabbed his double following yet another assist from Rada.
The Nerazzurri bagged their third in the 73rd minute, with Odgaard slotting the ball comfortably past the opposing Ukrainian shot-stopper. Further chances to score came in the final few minutes for Inter, although the away side had to settle for an emphatic 3-0 triumph.
