NANJING – Inter's pre-season is now under way and after arriving in Nanjing on Wednesday morning the Nerazzurri paid a visit to Suning headquarters.
Having taken a look around, Luciano Spalletti shared his impressions with Inter Channel.
“It's impressive just how majestic and how huge it is, with its 25,000 offices. It gives you an idea of what Suning want to achieve in football and we have to make sure we're up to the task," the boss said.
He also commented on the incredible reception Inter were given at Nanjing airport as well as what awaits his team over the coming weeks.
“The number of fans waiting to greet us at the airport just shows you how little borders mean nowadays. A great country like China is interested in Italian football and we mustn't disappoint them. Inter are famous all over the world.
"This is the start of the second part of pre-season. We need to get to know the lads better and make sure we're ready for these games we have to play so that we can make a strong start when the league campaign kicks off."
