TYCHY – Italy’s Under-21 side suffered a painful loss in their second Group C match of the U21 European Championship in Poland.
The Italian team, coached by Luigi Di Biagio, were beaten 3-1 by the Czech Republic, after goals from Michal Travnik, Marek Havlik and Michael Luftner. Domenico Berardi had equalised for the Azzurri youngsters.
Roberto Gagliardini entered the fray on 75 minutes, replacing Federico Bernardeschi.
