INTER SUMMER TOUR, IN SEARCH OF DRAGON CITY

Discover Changzhou, the prefecture-level city in Jiangsu province set to host Inter’s first match in China this summer

MILAN – The first match of the Inter Summer Tour 2017 pits the Nerazzurri against Schalke 04 in Changzhou, a prefecture-level city situated in Jiangsu province in Eastern China.

With around four million inhabitants, Changzhou stands on the southern bank of the Yangtze River. It is located around 150 kilometres from Nanjing and Shanghai. The city is known throughout the country for China Dinosaurs Park, a popular tourist attraction whose museum holds over 50 fossils. Changzhou is nicknamed Dragon City on account of the fact that it has produced large numbers of Chinese rulers over the centuries.

The match between Inter and Schalke 04 will take place at the Olympic Sports Centre, a 38,000-seater stadium built in 2008.
