MILAN – Ahead of Inter v Udinese, the Nerazzurri’s final game of the 2016/17 season, sporting director Piero Ausilio spoke to Mediaset Premium and reflected on the campaign.
"It’s been a negative season, in which Inter have failed to meet their objectives. We’ll try to learn from it as we plan for the new season, starting tomorrow," he said.
"As for the coaching situation, we’ll move things forward next week. We have clear ideas on this.
"Have we received an offer from Manchester United for [Ivan] Perisic? It’s you that have spoken about offers. If you mean bids in writing, we’ve not had any. There is interest in him.
"Is he sellable? I wouldn’t say any of our players are sellable or unsellable. We’ll assess things," he added.
"Inter are Inter. The club’s history speaks for itself and there’s a great future ahead of us, thanks to Suning, who have big plans. I don’t think Inter have a poorer squad when compared to those ahead of us, but it should be improved. We’ll talk about that with the new coach."
