MILAN – In collaboration with Opta, here are all the facts and figures on Sunday’s game between Inter and Udinese, the 88th time this fixture has taken place in the top flight.
Inter have won their last four league matches against Udinese, netting two goals on every occasion.
Geoffrey Kondogbia’s next appearance will be his 50th in Serie A, while the signs look good for Eder in front of goal: the Italy striker has scored in two back-to-back matches and his record against Udinese is better than any other club, six goals in ten games (including his first for the Nerazzurri in March 2016).
Ivan Perisic got his first brace for Inter in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
Antonio Candreva’s top-flight debut actually came in an Udinese shirt and since leaving he has scored three times against his former employers, all from the penalty spot for Lazio. He has also hit double figures in assists for the first time in his career this campaign. The winger has put in the most crosses from open play in 2016/17 (297) and is second in terms of chances created.
Samir Handanovic is also a former Udinese man. The Friulian club were the first to bring the Slovenian to Italy and he went on to play 182 top-flight games for them.
Felipe, on the other hand, made four Serie A appearances for Inter in 2015. Assane Gnoukouri is on loan to Udinese from Inter, while Marco Faraoni also had a brief spell as a Nerazzurri player.
