ROME - Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio spoke to Mediaset Premium in the build-up to the Nerazzurri's trip to Lazio.
"A lot has been said but the reaction to my comments, which were made in specific circumstances, has been anything but journalism," said Ausilio. "I've already clarified things with the club, it only took ten minutes, and that's all in the past now as far as I'm concerned. We must focus solely on planning Inter's future which is why our last two games are important.
"The new coach has to be familiar with Italian football, wherever he's from. He must also know our players and have the ability to improve the team's performances. We have clear ideas in mind and we'll develop those with the club over the coming days to make the best possible choice."
