APPIANO GENTILE - Stefano Vecchi is back in charge of the Nerazzurri first team ahead of Inter's next match in Week 36 of Serie A.
"We don't have much time but I hope the players are willing to dig in," Vecchi told Inter Channel. "I've asked the lads to give everything in our three remaining games and they responded well in our first training session."
"It's not in our own hands but we must try to win as many matches as possible," said Vecchi with regards to Inter's hopes of making next season's Europa League. "I believe we have to finish the season on a positive note in a manner befitting of this club. We must strive to qualify for Europe right up until the last game of the season. Our recent results are not a true reflection of the ability we have in the side."
Finally, the interim coach looked ahead to Sunday's lunchtime kick-off at San Siro: "Sassuolo are a great side, they're organised and play with freedom. I want to see my players show what they can do out there."
