GENOA – It wasn't the best return to the starting XI for Marco Andreolli, who has offered his take on the team's under-par performance today.
"We knew Genoa would leave few gaps," the defender said. "We weren't quick enough moving the ball to open things up. We had a few chances in the first half and at the start of the second to open things up. It's one of those things right now; it's a shame.
"As professionals we need to respect ourselves and, before anything else, we have to finish this season in the best possible way, giving it our all right until the end. We need to respect ourselves, our team-mates, the shirt and our fans.
"It's important the squad is united when you're trying to hit targets. It's difficult to respond as we have done on other occasions: for four months we showed what we're capable of."
