APPIANO GENTILE - Stefano Pioli has urged Inter to rediscover their mojo ahead of Sunday's meeting with Genoa and finish the season strongly.
The Nerazzurri were flying until a few weeks ago but are now winless in their last six – something Pioli wants his side to put right starting at the Marassi.
Speaking in an interview with Mediaset Premium, the coach explained: "We're angry because we haven't won for six games. We must get back to playing the way we were because these players have got plenty of ability and they've shown it.
"There have always been rumours both when we were winning and when we weren't, but we've never let them affect us. If the league were to end today, no one would be happy with what we've done. We must give everything we've got to play better than our opponents tomorrow and to finish the season as best we can.
"When you start to slip away from a big target you obviously feel a bit down but it's not true that the team has given up. We've got into a rut and haven't been able to pick up results. Now we need to remain focused on tomorrow.
“Gabigol has improved and he's been working hard. He's in good shape. I'll try to pick the right team tomorrow because we need to win these games.”
