MILAN – Roberto Gagliardini took questions in the mixed zone after Sunday’s match at the San Siro. Commenting on the team’s performance he said: "We managed to play our game for the majority of the first half, then we conceded the goal and it changed the game. They were able to hit us on the break in the second period.
"We’ve had a very difficult month but we need to try and stick together to produce good displays. There are always so many fans and they support us in every game – we need to do more for them.
"After the injury I was out for a week and a half, so I’m lacking a bit of sharpness. We weren’t able to press too high against Fiorentina, whereas tonight we wanted to sit back a bit more. The goal changed the game entirely.
"We have four games left and we need to give absolutely everything because qualifying for Europe is still within our reach," he added.
