MILAN – The 2002 crop of Inter girls have won the league title, marking a proud moment for the Nerazzurri female sides.
Having bagged 19 wins and one draw, and suffering just two defeats, the girls team coached by Alessandro Ruocco secured the league title after picking up a win in their last game. They earned three crucial points against Brescia, moving above their opponents into the top spot and sparking joyful celebration.
A huge thank you goes to all the staff that have worked with the group. In addition to Ruocco’s coaching on the pitch with the girls, their success is also the result of the great work done by goalkeeping coach Guilio Quartieri, management staff Simone Baresi and Marco Bersini, as well as physiotherapist Sara Ravasio.
